Using Alternative Languages in Windows
Q.
How do I install an application like SpectraSuite in a language other than the default language used by Windows?
A.
Open the Control Panel and select Regional and Language Options.
Click on the Regional Options tab under Regional and Language Options.
In the drop-down list, select the language under which you would like to install the new application.
The Language Bar now appears in the right side of the Taskbar just to the left of the System Tray. It should display the default language selection currently used by Windows (in this example, EN - English, United States).
Click on the language selection to change it (in this examples ES - Spanish, Mexico)
Now, begin your application installation.
When your application installation is complete, return to the Control Panel and select Regional and Language Options.
Click on the Regional Options tab and change the language selection back to its previous value.
Click on the Languages tab and then click on the Details button.
Click on the Language Bar button near the bottom of the panel.
Uncheck the checkbox that reads Show the Language bar on the desktop. This will remove the Language bar from your Taskbar.
