Photometric Quantities in SpectraSuite

Q.
I have my absolute irradiance spectrum in SpectraSuite and, now I want to look at photometric quantities. What do I need to do?

A.
If you are interested in photometric values of a light emitting entity from within absolute
irradiance mode in SpectraSuite you just have to click on the candle icon in the upper right hand corner of the spectrum graph, as shown in Figure 1.
Clicking on the candle icon causes the Configure Photometry dialog box to appear, as shown in
Figure 2. In order to proceed to the automatically calculated photometric quantities in
SpectraSuite, you must first enter your observer type and steradians value, , for your
experiment. The observer type is selected as either the 2-degree or 10-degree standard
observers, as defined by the CIE, from the drop down menu (the user should already know for
which observer they would like the values computed).
