Viewing the Strip Chart

How do I view the strip chart for high speed data?

First be sure that your high-speed acquisition is showing in your data sources panel.

Right-click on the high-speed data and select Spectrum Graph. Select the option below for show data in a new graph. This will cut down on confusion.

Select the icon for setting up a new Strip Chart. Set up the data acquisition and wavelengths on this screen based on your needs.

You will then get a trend screen and you can close the add new trend box, as you have already completed the initial trend set up. Notice that your strip chart screen is blank. It is now waiting on data to chart.

Open the Simulated Acquisition branch and right click on the Spectrum that shows there. Click on the Playback Controls option.

You will notice the slider is at the far right. Move it to the far left and that will be the first spectra of

your group. When you click the play button, your strip chart will begin to show the data it is capturing from your high-speed data.
